A diaphragm-style bottom discharge valve, also known as a valve, is a type of valve used to control the discharge of sludge from the bottom of a tank or pool. This type of valve is designed with a flexible diaphragm that moves up and down to open or close the discharge port.
The main advantage of a diaphragm-style bottom discharge valve is its ability to handle thick and abrasive sludge without clogging or causing damage to the valve. The flexible diaphragm prevents solids from getting trapped, allowing for a smooth and efficient discharge process.
Product description:
JM742X Diaphragm type pool bottom mud discharge valve is composed of main valve, two-position four-way reversing valve and disc and other parts. When the two-position four-way reversing valve is in the first position, the middle chamber of the main valve is filled with water, and the upper chamber is opened to the atmosphere. The diaphragm drives the valve disc to rise under the pressure of the water, and the main valve is opened. Start to discharge; when the two-position four-way is in the two-state position, the water in the middle cavity of the main valve is discharged to the upper cavity of the pool, and the main valve is closed to stop the discharge of sediment. This valve is installed outside the bottom wall of various sedimentation tanks to remove sediment and dirt at the bottom of the tank. The opening and closing action is controlled by the reversing valve, with quick response and accurate closing.
